Scarlet Beast

What do we know about the end times? Perhaps not as much as we imagine. There are some who say that the last empire will be like rome. Fact is, rome is symbolized using iron. However, the last empire on earth is seen as a mix of clay and iron. Maybe this means it is similar to rome, but not as strong and more brittle in some ways.

Babylon the Great rides a scarlet beast that has seven heads and ten horns, but who is who are we talking about now. Scarlet Beast in the Bible is the main govenment on earth in the end time scenario.  It is this government that fights God in the Battle of Armageddon we He comes. Also, we read in the book of the apocalypse that the Leopard Beast or leader of the Scarlet Beast has ten kings that rule with him - these might be the ten horns. What about the seven heads? These are seven sequential kingdoms. Last one is also the 8th one. He is said to last only a short amount of time - 42 months or 3 and one half years. Perhaps this is because the Leopard Beast ruler is wounded, but a new leader arises. In fact, the scarlet beast empire goes on. This new leader is the lamb beast the looks innocent like a sheep, but speaks as a dragon and causes all people on earth to accept the mark of the beast. However, Christ will soon come and He  grabs both the leopard and the lamb; throwing them into the lake of fire that burn for ever and ever. Beastly governments are destroyed when Christ comes. End time prophecy tells us that the last leader gather up the people to fight in the Battle of Armageddon. Truly this is the final battle before the millenium or one thousand years of peace. Prophecies in revelation speak of this new era. Hope that peace will replace constant wars.
