Many secret weapons that are on the drawing board were used. It was a terrible time. Most of the cities were gone, the highways were empty, and out in the country few houses had candles burning inside. Yes dark days lie ahead.
Good news, no war in the far future. Sadly, the news is bad for the near future, WWIII destroys most of humanity. We go from billions of people to millions. In a jump to 2017, the population of the US was only five million. Canada was down to only one milion.

Still, we learned the lesson and there was war no more. People realized that we are all one family. The artificiall divisions that have kept us apart went away. We all came together to survive, and survive we did.
It was called - the time of troubles. So many were lost in the great war, that is what WWIII is called that people realized that war was not the solution. After WWI the league of nations was created, and after WWII the United Nations, but the problem is NATIONS. Those do not exist after the great war.
The far future is a happy place, there is no more war......
